David Chinlund Woodstock OL 6'6 255 Class Of 2021

David Chinlund how was your 2019 season?

It definitely didn’t go as well as we wanted, I personally didn’t get much playing time, which is understandable because it was my first year ever playing football. Overall though, I really discovered a real passion for the game and I believe it was a great season to build my foundation on.

What should college coaches know about you?

College coaches should know that I take great pride in my coachability. I believe one of my strongest attributes is my ability to learn new skills and understand what is asked of me on and off the field. College coaches should also know I have a burning desire to outwork anyone who stands in my way. I also take academics very seriously.

What position do you feel most comfortable at?

I played the majority of last season at right tackle, and towards the end of the season I felt very comfortable there.

What do you like about playing on the line?

The physical contact, I’ve been playing hockey my whole life and my favorite part of the game has always been hitting. Once I was introduced to football, especially the line, I realized there’s way more hitting, and I love the feeling of knocking people over.

How does Woodstock look for 2020?

I am extremely optimistic and ecstatic for this upcoming 2020 season! We have a very mean line and lots of guys with lots of experience. I am a firm believer that Woodstock is going to be the team everyone else is scared to play this year.
