Josh Hybert Class of 2021 OL Marian Catholic 6'3 230
COACH BIG PETE: Josh Hybert how was your 2019 season?
JOSH: My 2019 season was the first year that my team and I started to fulfill some of our potential and spread our wings a bit. We started to taste victory more and put our name back on the map when we made it to the playoffs. Our program worked hard and made big strides last year.
What does football mean to you?
Football is the main part of my life. Bettering and preparing myself for the season is an everyday job. When I wake up I focus on how I’ll get better today to help my team in the future. I love it.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
It’s where all the real nastiness goes down. There are no flashy plays or crazy catches it’s just two teams hitting each other and proving who runs the field. There’s no hiding you just have to dig in and overpower the other man.
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know I’m a hard worker, a leader, and going to be one of the smartest players on the field. I’ll lead my team and push them to better themselves. I never take a play off and am always willing to hit.
How does Marian Catholic look for the upcoming season?
We are hungry and we are working. I’ve never seen our team more determined then they are now. We are bigger and stronger, and are unlocking more of our potential of being a dominant football team again.
