Talking With Minooka Big Man Dylan Meyer Class Of 2021

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Dylan Meyer Class of 2021 Minooka OL/DL 6'2 245

COACH BIG PETE: Dylan Meyer how was your 2019 season?

DYLAN: Good, but not as good as our team wanted. We had made it to the quarterfinals but lost, which was a shame. Now for my season, I thought I had a pretty good season overall for playing O line for the first time.

Hardest part to you about playing on the offensive line?

The hardest part about playing o line is that we are involved in every play and have to block guys the same size or bigger.

What should college coaches know about you?

The thing I want coaches to know about me is that I am a hard worker and put the team before myself.

What part of your game have you been trying to improve in the offfseason?

My speed and quickness for sure. I also am trying to work on my explosiveness also

Name me one Minooka player who is going to have a breakout season in 2020?

There isn’t a specific player, but there’s a few people to look out for. For the C/O 2021: Zach Wingerter, Josh Davis, Mason Cave, Vincent Bartuch, Hunter Ryan, but there are many more to look out for. For C/O 2022: Collin Forest, Malik Armstrong, and Trevor Hudak
