COACH BIG PETE: Will Orban how was your 2019 season?
WILL: Overall I thought my 2019 season was awesome. It was fun working with new coaches and learning a whole new defense. Being healthy and earning a starting spot the whole season was a blessing for me. I learned a lot from some of the older guys too. I worked hard in the offseason and I think it translated to the field very well.
How good can this Lockport team be for 2020?
I think that this year we have huge potential to be a great team. As a team we have all been working in the offseason to do great things on the field. The incoming juniors have some playmakers that will be great additions to the team. I believe that Coach Czart and all the other coaches will put us in the best position to be an amazing team in 2020.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I am coachable, physical, and give it everything i got on the field.
What do you believe is your strongest trait on the field?
I believe my strongest trait is my mental toughness in tough situations, knowing where I have to be and what I have to do.
What part of your game have you been trying to improve in the offseason?
Ive really been focusing on my speed, I joined the track team to get faster and strengthen my legs. I have also been working on putting on more weight and getting stronger.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal is to help and lead my team to win football games and to be the best on the field when I play.
