CBP: Payton Dennis how was your 2019 season?
PAYTON: I got some varsity reps at QB , I gained a lot of knowledge and experience , wish we could have went deeper into the playoffs, I’m looking forward to next season.
What should college coaches know about you?
I work out and try to perfect my craft , I feel I am highly coachable ,persistent , humble , and a team player.
What does playing QB mean to you?
It means everything to me, I dreamed of being a QB ever since I was 9 years old, don’t get me wrong I don’t mind playing other positions but QB is the one I fell in love with.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
Composure, I stand in the pocket comfortably, and I perform well under pressure.
How does South Elgin look for 2020?
I’m excited about next season although we lost some great senior athletes , we have some returning starters that did extremely well last year , our offensive and defensive line should be strong and improved . We have a lot of good young talent coming up to the varsity level.
What is your favorite route to throw to?
I like throwing the comeback on the run , but I like throwing the ball on any route.
