Nevan Cremascoli Class of 2022 New Trier 6'3 195
Nevan Cremascoli how was your 2019 season?
I think it was a great learning experience for all of us. We were all first year starters coming into the season and we had high expectations. It didn’t end how we wanted to but it taught us how we need to put more into it if we want to get more out.
What game do you think was your best in 2019?
I think that our opening game against Lyons Township was our beat game. We came out hungry after we didn’t get much credit to our name in the off-season. We wanted to go deep and we played the most as a team in that very first game, I think, out of the whole season. Brody Roth has a great game rushing and me and my receivers had a good game too showing a versatile offense we could be.
How does this New Trier squad look for 2020?
We are hungry. We all want to be great this year and as many returning starters come back, we are holding each other and the new additions to our team accountable within weightlifts and growing a healthy team environment for the upcoming season. We have a chance at something great.
What do you enjoy about playing QB?
I live the leadership aspect. If you have a good win you’re going to be looked at in pride, if you have a bad loss you’re going to be looked at in doubt. It’s how you respond to those comments that shows your true ability to lead a team to a successful season.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I have talked to Western Michigan, Illinois, Northwestern, and Iowa and took game day visits their this season as well.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a team player and I’m willing to put in anything I have to to help myself and my team to become as successful as possible. I pride myself in being able to handle pressure and stay composed under any circumstances and respond in a way that will result in growth both personally and in the team aspect as well.
