So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell
Camden Hirsch Naperville North Class of 2021 ER/LB 6'3 215
Camden Hirsch how was your 2019 season?
Coming up to varsity in 2019 was a unforgettable experience. I learned so much throughout the season and improved each week. It was a blast playing with my brothers and can’t wait to do it again next year.
What are your winter/spring plans?
This winter I have been in the weight room a lot. I’ve seen good progress since the season has ended. I also have been training at acceleration and plan to continue. In the spring I am playing lacrosse for my school. But plan on lifting and training during season to keep making progress.
What schools have you talked to so far?
At this point I have just recently started the recruiting process. I have talked with a couple D3 programs. I will be attending a good amount of camps this summer and I’m hoping to start talking with more coaches and hopefully catch the attention of coaches at the camps.
What do you feel is your strongest attribute on the field?
I feel as though I have a good size and a high motor. Also I play through the whistle. This is something that is very important to do. Until the ball carrier is on the ground you can’t stop pursuing.
Who else on the Naperville North defense should I be on the lookout for in 2020?
Our defense will have a lot of returning starters. Including Connor Corigan, Ethan Hilgert and Adam Sturtz all good players.
