Jesse Villegas how was your 2019 season?
2019 season wasn’t what I expected I personally think I did great my junior year I tried to be a leader on and off the field every opportunity there was...but my team broke down during mid season...lots of injuries and irresponsible mistakes off the field...
What does football mean to you?
Everything....I been playing since the age of 12 and it taught me to have respect for others keep your head held high with pride no matter what the outcome is I believe that on the field and off
What should college coaches know about you?
I give it my all.... I lack in size but that has never stopped me from making a play or finishing my assignment
How does Hinsdale South look for 2020?
We are looking good the teammates that are grinding in the weight room have more respect for themselves and the game....everyday out bond gets closer and closer and that’s what matters most when you know you can rely on the guy playing next to you
What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
To be a better leader ...I know I can drive myself physically to do better when it comes to the field but I want to be the guy that can lead us in the best direction...the guy that gets everyone in the weight room during offseason the guy that pushes the team to pick up the weight room after lifting the guy everyone looks up to when when I’m the smallest guy out there
What game are you looking most forward to this upcoming season?
First game against Kaneland. We have to focus one game at a time....also some unfinished business
