Michael Bumpus how is your 2019 season going so far?
Winning conference and beating IC and Bishop Mac was a huge step. But the entire team is not satisfied we have a lot more to prove
Personally I have loved playing both ways and having the opportunity to play d line and linebacker has been a blast
Favorite memory so far besides ICCP and Bishop Mac game was?
Last year we lost in second round to Rockford Boylan beating Genoa in second round this year was another accomplishment. But my favorite is always the next one
What do you feel was your best game this season?
Physically competing with a team like IC was great. Showed how far we have come as a team to overcome injuries and still pull out a victory.
Competing against Kyle Franklin and Kevin Cooke each play made me a better player
Funniest memory this season?
After every win we all run up to Coach McMillen and he goes crazy with us and dances. I die laughing every time.
What do you see in this Coal City team for Saturday?
I see a talented, hard nose, well coached football team. It will be difficult but I have supreme confidence in our team and coaching staff.
