Kevin Frazier Fenwick Class of 2022 DT/DL 6'1 250
Kevin Frazier how was your regular season?
I honestly thought my regular season went better than expected. I had hopes of playing linebacker, but my coach ended up putting me at defensive line and it worked for the better. I missed a game and a half due to an injury, but overall my season is definitely one to build off of.
All Conference that is huge for a sophomore... How does it feel for this special acknowledgement?
It’s a huge honor and I feel extremely blessed. I was hungry to make 1st Team in the beginning of the season as one of my goals, but to make all conference as a sophomore feels amazing. I feel like I still have a lot more to prove to people and hope to display more of that as my continue playing.
What schools have you talked to so far?
With all honesty I haven’t had any looks from any schools so far, but that makes me want to work even harder. I hope this changes in the offseason, but even if this doesn’t end up being the case I’m going to have a hard working mindset.
What should college coaches know about you?
I think college coaches should know that I strive for perfection on and off the field. In the classroom, I’m an Honor Roll student. On the field, I play with a motor that not a lot of people my age can say they play with. I also feel I am very dependable and I am a quick learner.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I love how aggressive you have to be. Every time I step on the field I want to absolutely dominate the person in front of me and I feel playing in the trenches brings the dog out of me. Getting dirty and gritty are also things I love on the field, and I feel like you get so much of that and more playing down in the trenches.
What does football mean to you?
Football to me means giving everything you have win or loss. If you leave the field after the game and can’t say without a doubt that you left your heart out there, you weren’t really playing football. Football truly is the greatest game ever made.
What motivates a Kevin Frazier?
What motivates me is my family. My Aunt by the name of Doris passed away before the season. She was at almost all of my freshman home games and we were so close I could consider her my second mom. She motivated me to work hard regardless of the situation you’re in. Also my mom and dad motivate me a lot because I eventually want to buy them a new car or even a house, and I truly believe football will help me accomplish that.
