Terry Borske Neuqua Valley Class of 2021 LB 6'0 200
COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE
Trey is athletic linebacker who fits that hybrid 2 LB college scheme. Ability to read the QB and sniff out the offensive play is what makes him special for the 2021 Class in Illinois. Great pursuit and underrated speed in pass coverage.
Trey Borske how is your season going so far?
My Junior year season is going really well for me. I’ve been getting a lot of playing time and varsity experience by being on the first team defense all season. I feel like I am fully adapted to varsity and feel like I can compete at a high level against any of our opponents.
What does Neuqua Valley football mean to you?
Neuqua Valley football means GATA. Get After Their Asses. Our team is built off of that saying and we play with pride because of it. Every player on the field gives their one- eleventh and competes every day for the team. Neuqua Valley is a brotherhood.
What do you like about playing linebacker?
I love playing linebacker because of the mentality you have to have when playing the position. You know you have to be the most physical player on the field and have to be a leader on the defense.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a physical player and I love working hard. I hold myself accountable for my mistakes and like to help lead the team. Both of my older brothers play college football at a high level so I know what it takes to be a collegiate player. My brothers have showed me the ways and push me to be better and better every day so all three of us can live the college football dream together. I know how hard you have to work and how dedicated you must be to play at the next level, and I am totally prepared for that.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My strongest traits are using my strength and physicality to get off blocks and using my speed to run down quarter backs or running backs
Who is the funniest Borske brother out of you three?
Can’t even pick one we all have the same personality and like to goof around a lot but when it comes to getting better we are all locked in
Whats your goto pregame meal?
I love pasta with a little bit of salad before my games
