Johnny Luttrell how is your season going so far?
Things are going great. I have been blessed to start offense and defense. Our team has made the playoffs for 16th straight year. And we are focused on a deep playoff run and head back to state championship for the fourth straight year. Hopefully win this year!! Had a very close-tough loss against Williamsville week 4. Learned a lot from that game and continue to focus on getting stronger and faster. Our coaches push me to be better every game.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
Probably when I recovered a fumble and got our defensive turnover belt
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My aggressiveness
What do you see in this Athens squad for friday night?
A powerful run game and a fast tempo. They are a well coached team.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am very coachable. Dedicated and a hard worker. My academics are just important to me as playing the game.
I am flexible to play any position the team needs me in.
Whats your go to pregame meal?
Our team moms prepare a team meal for us before every game. The menu changes weekly. As a team we all eat breakfast together also on game day. A local restaurant makes us breakfast pizzas.
