Tre Thomas Class of 2020 Yorkville RB 5'11 195
Tre Thomas how is your season going so far?
It’s going pretty well. In terms of the team, we’re starting to put everything together in all three phases of the games. Personally, it’s going well, I’m just trying my best to do whatever aids our team in success.
What do you see in this Minooka squad for this Friday?
They’re very well off on both sides of the ball. They’re stout up front, and their secondary is aggressive. Offensively, they pose a threat whether it be passing or running the ball. I’m excited for the whistle to blow.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I’ve talked to Augustana College, Eastern Illinois, University of Indianapolis, Harding University, Furman University, Concordia St. Paul, and some others.
What should college coaches know about you?
I really love the game , I’ll do anything to play football. Ill give it my all, at all times. I’m also obsessed with the process of getting better like training and lifting in the off-season.
What does Yorkville football mean to you?
Yorkville is a tight-knit community. That’s very evident in our football program. We’re such a close team and I wouldn’t trade my team for the world. Yorkville is where my love for the game originated.
Who should I be lookout for on the Yorkville sophomore level?
There’s a ton of names, K’Vondre Meadows, Nate Kraus, Isaiah Griffin, Joe Houdeck, D Williams, Malachi Jones, Andrew Garton, Anthony Zamora are all key play makers on the sophomore level and you will hear their names next season. In terms of sophomores on varsity we have Kendren Smith and Kyle Clabough, they’re both relentless lineman and you can expect big things out of them.
