Mike Youkhanna Class of 2020 ATH Stevenson 5'10 180
Mike Youkhanna how is your season going so far?
Although we’ve had a rough start to the season it has been pretty good. starting out 2-3, our team still has the confidence and will to keep our push towards the playoffs since we’ve been coached through our mistakes and learned from them
How was your performance so far?
My performance has been pretty well thus far. i’ve had a couple interceptions to go along with defensive player of the week against libertyville thanks to my coaches getting me in the right positions. I’ve felt like i’ve gotten better as a player every week this season
What does football mean to you?
Football is more than a game to me. It represents a family and prepares me for any battle i’ll face later in my life/career since you have to be tough to push yourself through whatever situation you’re in on the field.
What schools have you talked to so far?
For recruitment, i’ve mostly been in contact with University of Rochester, Concordia University in Chicago, Presentation college, Rose-Hulman, North Park U, and Saint Xavier university
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know they’re getting the most determined and hard working student-athlete there is to find in the state. Not just on the field and in the weight room, but in the class room too.
What is your go to pre game meal?
Tough one, but recently it’s been my moms rice and chicken with an apple
