Jack Hipchen Fremd Class of 2020 WR 5'11 165

Jack Hipchen how is your season going so far?

It’s going pretty well, we started off strong against Lake Zurich, but ran into two very tough opponents in Maine South and Hersey. We finally got back on track though after beating Evanston

You guys have been playing great football... What can you attribute that to?

I think last year we were a pretty one dimensional team offensively, but this year we have been throwing the ball a lot more and our QB Ryan Saxe has been doing a great job getting the ball to us receivers. As for our defense we are starting to hit our stride and figuring things out better.

Favorite memory so far this season?

Defiantly beating Lake Zurich, we play them first every year and they have beaten us the past couple of years so coming away with a win to start the season was a great confidence booster

So what do you see in this Schaumburg squad for Friday night?

They aren’t the same team they were last year, they are more athletic and disciplined than last year and we are expecting a good game.

How was your LaCrosse season last spring?

Better than in years past, we finished around .500 and I had 75 goals and 39 assists

Whats your go to pregame meal?

Ham and cheese sandwich from Pizza Bella
