Deep Dish Football GOTW Player Spotlight: Meet Woodstock's 6'3 WR Nate Archambeau Class Of 2

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Nate Archambeau Class of 2021 6'3 200 WR/TE Woodstock

Nate Archambeau how has your season been so far?

Pretty good even though our record doesn’t show it, I think our team has a lot of potential but we just haven’t found out how to put it all together yet, but me individually has 2 TD in 3 games and about 105 yards in 11 receptions. I still feel I have a lot I can improve on to make those numbers shoot up.

What does football mean to you?

Football has always been my entire life, i’ve been playing for 11 years and have created so many brotherhoods with so many different teams. I love the family aspect that comes with it too. It’s the biggest outlet in my life and the thing I enjoy most.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

I want to outdo all of my statistics from last season, last season I had 5 touchdowns. This season I think that is very beatable considering I seem to be the go to receiver. I think 10 touchdowns is very realistic.

What schools have reached out to you?

Nothing yet, i’m hoping to hear from some by the end of the season.

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m a big target with soft hands, very reliable in clutch situations. I’m always looking for ways to improve my game and i’m constantly working, I put my heart and soul into football. Also I am very coachable.

What do you see in this Woodstock North team for Friday night?

They have a bunch of great athletes, and their offense is very well run and we have been preparing all week, I grown up playing with the majority of their team and I know they’re going to bring their all, but I know we will too. It should be a dogfight but we are going to try to finish what we couldn’t last year.

What is your favorite route to run?

I prefer the 50/50 balls, so in our offense that normally happens in the corner route, so a corner.
