Jimmy Matanovic how has your season been so far?
Season has been great so far. We take it day by day to try and just be where our feet are. We’ve had some great accomplishments but much more is to come in the following weeks.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My strongest trait on the field is my ability to create separation. Playing 7on7 in the offseason allowed me to be explosive and gain yards after the catch. Blocking is another one of my strong suits as well.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
I’ve spoken to Central Michigan, Ball State, Illinois State, Iowa, Eastern Illinois, Western Michigan, and SIU
What should college coaches know about you?
College Coaches should know that I love the game of football and always wants to improve my craft. I am a leader on the field and bring a lot of energy to the field every day.
What do you see in this Glenbrook North team for Friday night?
I see a well coached 3-0 team with a solid running back but I know that if we execute what we are coached we will come out on top.
What is your favorite route to run?
My favorite route to run is the seam route out of the backfield as an H back. I love to split safeties and find the gaps in defenses.
