Jake Shipla Minooka Class of 2020 6'3 265 OL/DL
Jake Shipla 3-0 how does it feel?
It feels great to get off to a 3-0 start. We have a lot of returning starters and we all have done off season work to get prepared. Every week we work to get better and strive to do better each week.
What do you think is the strongest trait of the team?
One of the strongest traits of the team is we have great culture and chemistry. Most of us have been playing together since the braves. This helps us know each other’s strengths and weakness which we can build from.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal as an individual is to be a leader of the team by doing what I am supposed to do and making plays on the field. I will continue to make the big plays for my team and set the tempo on defense. On offense, I will do my assignments, communicate, play hard and inspire my teammates
Whats the better feeling getting a sack or a pancake?
A sack is a better feeling for me. It builds adrenaline not only for me but for the team as well.
Whats your go to pregame meal?
A big core water and a body armour for hydration and then team dinner filled with carbs made by all the parents of the team.
