Detric Dee Class of 2022 LB BBCHS 5'11 190

Detric Dee how does it feel to get the first win of the season?

It feels good to get the first win in the books. Also to see that our team earned that win makes it even more special. We never gave up through the entire game, and that shows heart and determination.

What do you see in this O'Fallon squad for Friday?

I have been watching film on them and they look like a real deep, and tough team. This game will be a dog fight between us and O’Fallon, but my team and coaches are ready for any challenges that come our way.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

My goal as an individual this season is to sharpen all the little things that we have been working on for these 6 weeks in offseason and season. I have come a long way since the fall and I want to keep building on that foundation that BBCHS, and their program has laid for me.

What does BBCHS football mean to you?

BBCHS football program to me is way for than just a football team. It’s a family and a support system, that helps me through my everyday struggles. Our coaching staff focuses on building young men that are going to grow up one day and be able to support for themselves and their family. This program is the best program that I have ever seen. Our weight room atmosphere is phenomenal thanks to out strength coach, (Adam Vogel). I’m just exited to see how these next years are going to look for BBCHS Football.

Who is the funniest coach on BBCHS?

Coach Lenning and Coach Kubal, my linebacker coaches. Aside being the great coaches that they are, they take time to make me and my fellow linebackers laugh all the time. I feel like they always got a little joke going on between them two but they are good Coaches to be around.

Who else on your sophomore team should I keep an eye out for Friday night?

My quarterback Caige Williams has been working as hard as he possibly can this offseason and I can really see growth in him. He has changed how he looks physically and he also has changed the way he plays tremendously. Over these next few years you should for sure keep your eyes on him.

Whats your go to pregame meal?

A nice New York Deli sandwich
