Ian Wagner how was your Week 1?
It was a rough start for the team, we didn’t execute like I know we can. Going against a state championship team can always have its problems. Having 5 turnovers never helps against anyone you face.
What do you see in this Bradley Bourbonnais squad for this upcoming Friday?
I see a team that had a rough year last year just like us. I saw that they where hungry and went out their first game and showed it. We just have to come out with the mindset that we are going to compete and hopefully win a football game.
What schools have you talked to so far?
Iowa and Illinois State have offered me full rides. I have talked to coaches from Florida State, Michigan State, and Illinois.
What should college coaches know about you?
I think they should know that I am one of the top kicker/ punters in the country. I also think they should know that I see myself as more than just a kicker. I want to be used to my full ability whatever school that might be.
What is one thing people dont understand about punting?
People don’t understand that it is an art. It takes years and years to be good enough to play in college or the NFL. That’s why I see myself as different because I’ve worked so long to do what I love at the next level.
Whats your go to pregame meal?
I myself don’t like to eat heavy before games. I normally eat a good amount of pasta the night before. Before the game I have a few Gatorade bars and some Gatorade.
