Jack Klbecka how is your summer going?
My summer is going great! Put it tons of work this offseason and have continued to do so this summer with workouts and drills to make senior year an outstanding one.
How is Geneva football looking?
Geneva football is looking good this year. We have a solid d-line and good players at other positions as well. We have all been working as hard as possible to make this season our best one and have high standards for the season!
What schools have you been talking to so far?
I’ve been talking to schools like Augustana College, Mount Saint Joseph University, and more. I’ve been attending many camps over the summer as well like Miami of Ohio and have met many coaches through these camps.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
I have many good traits I’ve developed over the offseason but I feel my strength and awareness on the field are my best ones. Ive put around 45 pounds on during the off-season and have been lifting and putting in work daily to make sure I’m at my best for the season.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I’m an extremely committed and hard working athlete and that I won’t let anyone stop me from winning or making plays. I am super coachable and am always looking to learn from the best. Coaches should also know I’m committed in the classroom as well and work to perfect my craft as a defensive end.
What does Geneva need to do this season to get into the IHSA Playoffs?
Geneva needs to stay consistent this season to make it into the IHSA Playoffs. We need to come together and communicate while going full speed every single play. We need to focus on one play at a time and treat every game as our last game.
