Meet the NEW Interstate Eight Conference not to be confused with the Interstate 8 of the years before. Only Sandwich and Plano from the old I8 are in this new Interstate 8 with some powerhouses added. I have three top dog teams in this conference with Kaneland, Sycamore, and Morris all three feature deep rosters. Plano and Rochelle our my middle tier teams could challege the top dogs in the I8. My surprise team in the Interstate is LaSalle-Peru with great depth at line they are going surprise some teams in 2019. Keep an eye out for Ottawa Class of 2021 QB Brett Galletti he could be a conference MVP. No doubt in my mind that this is a conference that will be intriguing in the next couple of years (depending if district doesnt go through).
