Ryan Lakin Naperville Central OL Class of 2020 6'3 265

Ryan Lakin is one of new favorite OL for the Class of 2020, great intensity off of the snap. Really impressed with hand work and ability to finish off blocks. Look for Mr.Lakin to be a fall recruit riser for the Redhawks.

Ryan Lakin how was your 2018 season?

I feel liked I played good, but I know that I can play better.

What schools have you talked to so far?

Augustana, Carthage, Sioux Falls, Valpo, Youngstown State, Loras, Simpson College, Indiana Wesleyan, Illinois Wesleyan, Knox college, Greenville, and a couple more

What should college coaches know about you?

Every time I play I do it with maximum effort, I’m aggressive off the ball whether it’s a pass or a run, and I want to win.

Why do you think Naperville Central has become such a good program for producing offensive linemen?

I think a lot of it has to do with the coaches. Coach Watson and Coach Allen were amazing last season and helped me and all of my teammates develop into better players and people. Secondly the culture of the program helps all players not just the lineman. It’s a simple mindset of doing your job. And all of us just show up to do what the coaches ask us too.

We know about the Redhawk skill players and ofcourse Sam Jackson... Give me some Naperville Central linemen I should be on the lookout for this upcoming season?

Offensively Mike Killips and Alex Jurcich are going to be crucial this season. Defensively Angelo Eklou and Sean Key are going to dominate the dline this year

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

Trying to get my footwork fast and explosive

How good can this Redhawk team be this season?

You’ll just have to watch and see.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

To improve and be the best that I can be.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
