Casey Erickson Class of 2020 ATH Dunlap 6'2
Casey Erickson how was your 2018 season?
It was a lot of fun. Played with a lot of great people and players. We ended the season 7-3. Didn’t end how we wanted to but we fought hard all season long.
How does Dunlap look for this upcoming season?
We have a lot of key players that played a lot last year returning that will benefit us greatly. We also have some juniors that are showing some good potential.
What should college coaches know about you?
I feel I work hard for my education and as a football player I feel I work hard to earn spots and/or maintain positions that I am put in.
Who else on Dunlap should I be on the lookout for this upcoming season?
Jackson Chatterton- Our quarterback. He has a very strong arm and it’s remarkably fast.
Isaiah Curry- Running back/Linebacker. Again very very fast and a tough kid. hits hard and doesn’t ever give up on a play
Gabe Calhoun- (junior) corner/WR. Decent speed and is very reliable when it comes to catching the ball in traffic or in the open. Can heavily content most people he comes across
Daniel Wallace- Defensive end. strong tall and quick kid who gets to the play first usually and completes the play. Ken Johnson- Another defensive end who is very strong and knows the opponent just as well as our opponent. Dylan Combs- Slot receiver and corner. hardest worker on our team no doubt. strong and quick and is very instinctive on the field
Ethan Barlow- TE/LB. Tall and strong guy who makes plays every possession. on offense he is a great blocker and beneficial for other pass/run plays.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
I hope to help lead my team to a successful season and I hope to accomplish a lot of wins along with a trip to the playoffs.
What game are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?
The Morton game. We’ve always had close games with them and fought hard while playing them.
