Christopher Lockridge how was your 2018 season?
My 2018 season was great. We had much improvement from the 2017 season. Also I think we think we could have made it to state if we didnt have as many problems as we did with some staff members trying to get our coach fired. But its football we never know whats going to happen. We just gotta weather the storm and be prepared for the hardest punch they throw at us then fight back.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
First i would like to give a thanks to the man above me and Coach Stovole. Coach Stovole has brought in over 85 Universities to come talk to us and watch us practice. So while coach was bringing these coaches and recruiters in I had a chance to speak with Robert Morris, Michigan State, Syracuse, Ball State, Toledo, University of Illinois, Northern Illinois university, and more
What should college coaches know about you?
I am great Offensive tackle also played Defensive tackle. So I got a feel of what both sides of the ball feel like. I am hardworking, intelligent and listen well. I stay out of trouble and lead the team to what we are suppose to do. I also help other lineman so they can get a shot at playing, everyone deserves a chance to get some bread on the table. I pay attention in school and have good grades because without grades I cant play. Last is im 6'3 around 270- 280 and my interested is open to any school that comes calling
What game are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?
Im looking forward to 2 games this year and thats Homewood Flossmoor which when we first kick off our season. Second game im looking forward to is our rival T.F. South. Every year our games be intense and we looking to come on top this year
What is one thing that a lot of people dont know about you?
Im not a party person. I might go to some parties depending on whats going on or if its family related but overall im not a party person I dont like being in crowded areas
What motivates a Christopher Lockridge?
On the field i would say the Coaches. Coach Stovole, Coach Cruz, Coach Ingram, Coach Isabell and more. Their plan is to get us a shot at the next level and they cant do that if we as players are not doing our job. Also I would say the Offensive line and defensive line motivates me because without the defense I would have no one to practice against to make me better and without the offensive line i wouldn't have nobody to challenge me for my spot so i can work harder
