EJ Darlington how was your 2018 season?
My season went very well. I was fortunate to have a lot of success.
Butler offers you, How does it feel to get that first offer?
I’ve received offers from Johns Hopkins and Rose Hulman but this is my first D1 offer. It feels good to know that these coaches know that I can play at the D1 level.
What should college coaches know about you?
Coaches should know that I am a competitive and disciplined player. I’m very coachable, hardworking, and focused. I pride myself on being a great teammate and enjoy bonding with my teammates over the season. Most of all I love to win.
What excites you the most about this Barrington squad this season?
We’re going to be returning plenty of starters from last year. We have plenty of talent on the team and I’m excited to see what we can do. I also have been friends with plenty of the guys for a while and am excited for one last ride with them.
What does football mean to you?
Football has been a huge part of my life since kindergarten. I’ve loved the sport for as long as I can remember and I’ve put everything I have into the game. Football has shaped me into who I am today.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal for this upcoming season is to elevate my game to a whole new level and bring my teammates and those around me along with.
