Luke Desherow how was your 2018 season?
It went well. I got a good amount of playing time and was able to be a legitimate contributor to a state championship team.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Mostly FCS schools. I’ve talked with some Ivy League schools and have visited Indiana State, Southern Illinois and Eastern Illinois. I currently have an offer from Eastern Illinois.
What should college coaches know about you?
Im a grinder. I always play hard with good technique and I will always stick up for my teammates.
What position do you feel most comfortable at?
Definitely DE. It’s what I’ve been playing all of high school. I do take pride in my versatility; and I could step in at another position if my team needed me to.
What do you like about playing on the defensive line?
Being in the trenches every play. Also, the defensive line has the best chance to impact the game. If the defensive line plays well, the whole defense will play well and wreak havoc on the offense.
How does your summer college camp schedule look like?
I am going to the Northwestern camp. And I am still deciding on what others to attend.
Funniest Loyola football coach is?
That’s a tough question. Coach Holecek has a really good sense of humor and can always make the team laugh. But Coach Dooley is for the boys and also very funny. So, I’d say it’s a tie.
