Uchenna Udeogu how was the Lemming Showcase for you?
It was a great experience honestly, I love to compete with guys my age
How was your 2018 season?
My 2018 season was my best season yet. I grew a lot as a player last year, and although our team wasn’t amazing I feel like the chemistry was there. I had many ups and downs through the season but manage to work through it and it payed off I went All conference from both sides of the ball
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like college coaches to know tht I’m 6’1 275lb My 40 is 4.7 flat my 100m is 12.0 flat. I am a hard worker when it comes to the game I love. I play DT, LG, and a little FB. At the next level I would be willing to play nose guard on the defensive side. I will always out play the guy in front of me and I am motivated to overcome any and all challenges I face.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I have talked to Columbia, Yale, Western Illinois, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Air Force, NIU, Missouri Western, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Fordham.
What does your summer college camp schedule look like?
I haven’t finalized my schedule yet, but so far I will be attending the 3 stripe Adidas camp next week, the Northwestern camp, Kent State camp , North Central college camp, Central Michigan camp, and a Western Illinois camp. I am open to going to a lot more this summer.
What does playing Defensive Tackle mean to you?
To me playing defensive tackle is all about aggression, power, and will to get off the ball. It’s also about being able to smell, hear, and feel where the ball is. It’s a position where you have to love being down in the trenches and getting dirty. The best position on the field is defensive tackle.
