Dyaln Goodsell DE/TE/LS Class of 2020 Sandburg 6'4 250

Dylan Goodsell how was your 2018 season?

Great we had some up and down through the year but my transition coming to Sandburg for Arizona was amazing. We do play in one of the toughest conferences in Illinois.

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

I have especially being trying to key on my pass rush and hands this offseason. Which I’ve gotten lots of help from my Boom football coaches.

What schools have you talked to so far?

Coaches from Columbia, Ball State, University of Indianapolis, Southern Illinois, Saginaw Valley State, Lindenwood, Drake, Cornell, Illinois State, Rice University, Indiana Wesleyan. Couple others

What should college coaches know about you?

My work ethic and love for the sport is is above all. I have a 81”inch wingspan and I’m not just a DE I’m a talented LS.

Weirdest part of the move from Arizona football to Illinois?

The size of my high school. My previous school in AZ was classified as 4A with an enrollment of 1,400 students. Carl Sandburg High School is classified as 8A with an enrollment of over 4,000. The size of my new high school was like transitioning to a college campus.

Favorite move off the snap is?

Speed to power with maybe an inside move after I get there hips turned.

What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

My personal goals are to increase my stats all around in tackles and sacks per game. I want to lead my team into the playoffs next season and just BALL OUT be a dawg on and off the field.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
