Cole Rusk how was your 2018 season?
It was a very fun year, this last season as a sophomore was my first time starting varsity as a WR. Playing against better competition exploited my weaknesses and made me realize what I need to do to play at the next level. I was very pleased with my season but not satisfied. This junior season I’m looking to open the eyes of recruiters and dominate my competition.
Favorite memory of last season?
Playoffs round two, we were down 10-14. On fourth down our QB scrambled away and hailed it to the end zone where I caught it over two defenders.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a very athletic 6’6 WR who is very competitive, hard working, doesn’t like to lose and ready to compete against the best.
What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
I want to show that I’m ready for bigger and better competition coming from a small High School looking to live my dream of playing on a bigger stage.
What does your summer college camp schedule look like?
June 2nd Notre Dame camp , June 8th Chicagoland Showcase, June 14th Iowa camp and June 15 Lake Forest Showcase. Those are the only camps I’m registered for so far.
How does Rockridge look this upcoming season?
Our head coach actually resigned a couple weeks ago so we are looking for a head coach. We also lost a good group of seniors but still looking to have a solid season with all the reparations needed.
What game are you looking the most forward to?
I’m not sure what week it is yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to playing against the Orion Chargers.
