Andrew King Eureka Class of 2020 LB/ER 6'1 220

Andrew King how was your 2018 season?

2018 season was a great learning experience which was filled with excitement. Our team accomplished an amazing feat going. 9-2 by the end of the second round in playoffs which hadn’t been done in 30 years! I learned how to be a universal player by playing multiple positions on the team and I was able to lead in tackles on special teams.

What schools have you talked to so far?

I have been having a lot of coaches follow me on Twitter but no actual communication

What should college coaches know about you?

Oh man! A lot, my work ethic is hard to beat! I eat, sleep, study , train, study and all over again. I love being dedicated to this sport and the idea to play in college and earn an education which no one can take from me!

What position do you feel most comfortable in?

I love the (OLB)outside edge, pass rushing and also special teams(bullet) I love tackling guys

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

I go up to Chicago a lot and train at EFT twice a week and work specifically on linebacker drills along with defensive end drills. On my own I am working a lot on explosive movements with agilities. Lots of lifting!

What game are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?

I would say State Championship! On a serious note Gibson City!

What motivates a Andrew King?

love to compete and see what I am made of. I am always in competition with myself. Pushing myself to the limits and playing as many sports as I can. I want to be the best version of myself I can be athletic, academic and as a person.
