Kwesi Caldwell Class of 2020 Oswego East DB 5'11 165

Kwesi Caldwell how was your 2018 season?

My 2018 season went pretty well. A lot of things went right and some went wrong, but in all honesty I couldn’t be happier with how much I grew from start to finish.

Favorite memory of your 2018 season?

My favorite memory of my 2018 season was our crosstown game vs. Oswego high school. The atmosphere of the game was incredible, and definitely something I will always cherish and remember forever.

What schools have you talked to so far?

The schools I have talked to are South Dakota State, Ball state, Minnesota State Moorhead, and Augustana.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I would like them to know that I am a hard working athlete on and off the field. I want them to know that I am going to give them everything I can and more when the opportunity presents itself.

How is the 7on7 season going so far?

My 7v7 season is actually going really well. We just recently won the Top Gun tournament which consisted of a lot of great teams. Coach Storm has given me the opportunity to lead our defense and has believed in me from the beginning and I am blessed for that.

So how does Oswego East look this season?

We are actually looking really good for this upcoming season. We have a lot of solid talent returning for this season and I am excited to see what this year holds for us.

What WR are you looking forward to face off with this upcoming season?

I am really looking forward to facing off with Jaylon Tillman from Plainfield North. He has a lot of talent and is definitely a threat. I am looking forward to see how that matchup goes this year.

What is your strongest trait on the field?

I would like to think my strongest trait on the field is my energy. At times my team can get down on ourselves and I think with the sparks I bring it can uplift my teammates and the coaches as well.
