Jack Belskis how was your 2018 season?
Personally I had a very good season. I was a captain as a junior and I broke the single season tackling record at Metea Valley with 111 tackles. As a team we struggled to get wins because we lost a lot of key players due to injuries. Despite that, we had a lot of guys step up and give it their all.
What schools have you talked to so far?
So far I have been in contact with Western Michigan, Harvard, Kansas State, Miami of Ohio, Illinois State, Indiana State, Rice, and Ball State.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I am a hard worker in the classroom as well as on the football field. I currently have a 4.1 GPA. In addition to football, I also play baseball. I love being part of a team that works hard as one.
What game are you looking forward to the most?
It’s always fun playing against the teams in 203 & 204 because I’ve played against or with some of them personally over the years since playing on the Patriots, and the Chargers.
What does playing linebacker mean to you?
Playing linebacker means so much to me. I love playing defense. The linebacker position allows for so much flexibility in skills - open field tackles, blitz, pass coverage - you can contribute on every play. It’s great to be able to see the play develop and help communicate that to your teammates.
What opposing player gave you the most trouble last season?
There were a few shifty running backs we played against that I just slipped off of.

Players that you should be looking out for are Austin Frederick, Colin Wilcox, Elijah Wright, Octavio Lopez, and Kiamirrion Howze.
