Michael Smith how was your 2018 season?

Pretty good my team and I had a couple of season ending injuries that affected us big time and I played on a messed up ankle which affected my play but I still did all I could for my team and we had a winning season

What schools have you talked to?

Eastern Michigan, Wyoming, SIU, ISU, NIU, EIU, Western Michigan, Indiana State, Navy,Kansas State, Ball State, Alabama State, Tennessee State University, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Bowling Green

What should college coaches know about you?

I am a very hard working person who will do anything for my team and I don’t give up

What does playing linebacker mean to you?

I love playing linebacker I get under-looked because of my height but I feel like it doesn’t matter if you can play you can play. Im not a 6’3 linebacker but I feel like I play like one and colleges are starting to notice that

How does Thornton Fractional South look this upcoming season?

We are looking pretty good for this season we have some amazing talent coming back on both sides of the ball and some upcoming talent that is going to shock a lot of people

Who are some players on Thornton Fractional South I should be on the lookout for this upcoming season?

Jamarion Gaines class of 20 running back he missed last season due to an ankle injury he is an amazing athlete who will do some damage this season also Shawn Wilson our top receiver who will both end up being some of the top players in the state this year

What motivates a Michael Smith?

My motivation is my team and my family my biggest fear is letting the people down around me and that keeps me working and going beyond limits
