Troy Warner Class of 2020 Oswego OL 6'4 260

Troy Warner how was your 2018 season?

I went into summer camp practicing DE as I played both sides of ball all of my fresh/soph seasons before being pulled up to varsity for 2017 playoffs, but team needed me on OL this season. I really found my niche there and ended up starting all 11 games, we went undefeated until losing in playoffs to Loyola Academy.

What position do you feel most comfortable in?

I definitely have more confidence and feel better at guard especially after going up against Hugunin everyday day of practice. I also witnessed my brother get moved to guard in college due to his height so I’ve been focusing on my guard work this offseason but for next year we’ll have to see what the coaches need me to play

What schools have you talked to?

Minnesota-Moorhead, Drake, Sioux Falls, Wyoming, and numerous D3 schools I also have camp invites from Illinois State and NDSU

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m an extremely hard worker who doesn’t quit and I’m always looking to better myself.

How does Oswego look for the upcoming season?

It’s looking very promising. Our senior core is hungry and looking for blood and the incoming juniors had a great year last year, they’ve also got some playmakers. We also love getting after it in the weight room.

Who are some players on Oswego I should keep an eye out for this upcoming season?

Sean O’Hara definitely, Brett Suter is going into his 3rd year of varsity football, Isaiah Emmanuel, Jack Lemke, Michael Mitchell is going to big in our linebacker core. Also there will be a great competition for quarterback between Cole Predl and Blake Yore.

What do you like about playing in the trenches?

The bond with the other lineman and being able to hit others without getting arrested
