Meet Normal's RB Jake Hileman Class Of 2020

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jake Hileman Class of 2020 Normal ATH 5'8 180

Jake Hileman how was your 2018 season?

It was a great learning experience for me. I transferred from a 4a school to a 7a school after my sophomore season. I was fortunate enough to earn a starting position and be named all conference. From a team perspective we were very good but our run ended earlier than we wanted it to.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I pride myself on being the hardest worker in the room day in and day out.

What excites you the most about this upcoming season?

I would say our class of 2020 has a very strong brotherhood and we’re a group of hard workers so the most exciting part of this upcoming season is going to be our success post week 9

What game are you looking the most forward to this upcoming season?

Bloomington and Normal West because the inner city atmosphere is untouchable

What does your summer college camp schedule look like?

It’s not 100% set in stone but I’ll definitely be going to Southern Illinois, Indiana State, and Illinois State

What do you like about playing running back?

I get to affect the game in so many aspects I can be affective from the backfield as well as the slot. In our offense I also play a big role in the blocking game which allows me to prove I can do damage without the ball in my hands.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

Elevate my role on the team to a primary leader and lead my area in yards per carry.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
