Tyler Hardin New Trier WR/DB 5'11 175 Class of 2021

Tyler Hardin how was your (SOPH) 2018 season?
The 2018 went went great, flipping the 2017 season from 2-7 into 8-1 and ending as conference champs was a great achievement. Personally ending the season with 9 TDs and approximately 800 yards in total offense thanks to great offensive teamwork and great play calling on the coaches side.
Favorite memory of the season for you?
Going into weeks 8 against Main South in their stadium and fighting for the conference championship, ending the game with a huge win 45-13.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am one of the hardest workers on and off the field. I’m always trying to bring my game to the maximum and find new ways to improve. I pride myself on being coachable and having the mentality that it’s all about the next play for the team.
What does your college camp schedule look like this summer?
Still undecided and looking at different options
So how does New Trier look for the upcoming season?
Going into junior year I greatly look forward to playing with the rising seniors, my teammates and I are hungry to get back out on the field and tear it up again. Look out for our explosive offense and solid defense.
Give me a defense that gave you trouble last season?
Stevenson showing us a 4-3 with size and physicality was a challenge, but a week of preparation prepared us well and the right play calling led us to a great team win
What part of your game have you been working in the offseason to better yourself?
This offseason I’ve mainly been working the great strength and conditioning coaching staff at New Trier to get me stronger and to help me work on speed and footwork to help form better routs and have an explosive burst once I catch the ball.
