Aboubacar Barry how was your 2018 season?
My 2018 season went very well. I helped my team win 9 games by rushing over 1000 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns.
Favorite memory of the season?
My favorite memory of the season was winning our playoff game against Glenbrook North when I had 3tds to advance us to the next round.
What colleges have you talked to?
Iowa, UNI, EIU, SIU, NDSU, SDSU, St. Cloud ST, Wyoming, Army, EKU, NIU
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I am the hardest working player on and off the field wherever I am. I want to be the best player I can be and will do whatever it takes to get there. I’m very competitive and hate losing.
Could you and Harrison be the best RB duo in Illinois?
I think Harrison and I are the best duo in the state. We both have that will to win and give it all we got. I also think we both are talented in ways other running backs in the state are not.
What do you think the biggest misconception about Moline football is?
The biggest misconception is that we have can’t match up with the bigger name schools.
What have you been doing in the offseason to improve yourself for the upcoming season?
I have been lifting everyday to put on the weight I want to be by the start on next season. I also recently started track.
How good can this Moline team be this season?
I believe our team this upcoming season will be better than the past season! We have a bunch of guys who are ready to give it their all with talent.
What goal do you have for yourself for this upcoming football season?
My goals this season are to run for 2k yards with 20+ touchdowns. I also want to be as much help for my team to make it deep into the playoffs so we can complete for a state championship.
