Billy Dozier how was your 2018 season?
I feel like I only had an average season. This upcoming year i’m looking to really up my game in all cylinders.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a very coachable kid an have been my whole life. I’m a hard worker and always looking to get better.
What schools have you talked to?
I have visited Miami(OH), NIU, Cincinnati, and visiting Western Michigan this upcoming Wednesday and ISU later this month.
What do your camp plans look like this summer?
I will most likely be at the Northwestern camp for sure and I haven’t decided yet for which other ones I will go to.
What does football mean to you?
Literally everything. I have played since I was 5 and I wouldn’t know what to do if I wasn’t playing.
How does Lincoln Way West look this upcoming season?
Despite losing a lot of senior starters from last year, I feel that we are stronger and will have the same or even more leadership to push each other to succeed on the field
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason to make yourself better for the upcoming season?
My main focus has been speed and ball catching. I feel that getting that break away speed is key to running after the catch and also my goal is for not one ball to touch the ground this year if it hits my hands.
Toughest DB you faced last season?
The toughest DB i’ve faced would be Wynston Russell from Homewood Flossmoor.
Who are some Lincoln Way West players I should be on the lookout for this upcoming season?
Caleb Marconi RB/LB , Griffin Ketelaar LB, and junior Joel Madrigal WR
