Dylan Curry 6'1 170 Class of 2020 Lake Park QB

Dylan James Curry how was your 2018 season?

This season was a disappointing one. I worked extremely hard during the off-season and had high expectations going into 2018 with the team we had. However, my season was cut short due to injury. It was very tough to see my team struggle and not be able to help on the field.

Favorite memory from last season?

Throwing my 1st TD and getting my 1st win in my 1st game on Varsity. I’ve won a lot of games and thrown a lot of TD’s, but nothing was greater than doing it under the lights on Friday night!

What should college coaches know about you?

College coaches should know that I am a student of the game. I'm a winner and a natural leader both on and off the field. I will do whatever it takes to win and nobody will out work or be more prepared than me. I take a great amount of pride in my preparation and work ethic. I’m confident I can compete at a high level in college.

What is one thing in your game that you want to improve during this offseason?

I want to add more muscle to my frame and improve on my footwork. I’m working hard in the gym and with my QB coach to improve these parts of my game.

How does Lake Park look this upcoming season?

Lake Park looks good. Similar to this past season we have a number of talented upcoming seniors that have a lot of potential.

What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

To win a State Title and continue to reach my full potential as a QB

What do you like about playing QB?

I love being able to be the game changer. I want to be the guy my team turns to in their time of need. When we are struggling and things aren’t going the way we want, they look to me and I am there to lead them.

What does football mean to you?

Football means everything to me. Every choice I make and every sacrifice I make always relates back to football. I have been playing football since I was 6 years old and I love it more and more every year.

Give me some Lake Park players I should be on the lookout for next season?

One to definitely keep a lookout for is Jordan Colon. Talented hard working player who leaves it all on the field.
