Austin Brown how was your 2018 season?
My season overall was a good learning experience. I was a little behind at first because before last season I hadn’t played since 6th grade. But I still managed to have some decent performances that got me All-Conference defensive first team
What should college coaches know about you?
I have a good work ethic. I strive to better myself everyday. I love getting in the weight room and out working the person next team and I’m willing to do anything to help my team succeed.
What does Johnston City football mean to you?
It means a lot. Johnston City is a football town that has some good history. The past two years we’ve had the right pieces but we didn’t know where to put. I’m ready to help bring back the old, hard-nosed type of football that the people are used to seeing.
What game are you most excited about for this upcoming season?
See how we can improve from last season. I think as long as we work hard and focus we can do good things
Who are some players on Johnston City that I should be on the look out for this upcoming season?
Jordan Wininger will be a junior next year I think he could show out as a defensive back and receiver. Also Corbin Hickey could be a good threat for our offense.
What motivates a Austin Brown?
Playing college football is a big motivation of mine. I would love to play football at the Divison 1 level. But being able to continue to play ball would be a blessing.
