Justin Morris how was your 2018 season?
I thought I had a great sophomore season. Definitely got a lot better from beginning to start and grew as a player.
What was one of your favorite moments?
Playing with my brother Jake was definitely something I’m going to remember forever but my favorite individual moment would have to be the tipped pick I had against Wheeling.
What excites you most about this upcoming season?
I’m excited to see what kind of team we have and if we have what it takes to be a playoff team. I’m also curious to see how much I’m going to improve from my sophomore year
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I can use my height and length to play multiple positions whether it’s Linebacker or TE
How happy are you guys to have Coach Bellacomo back?
I personally am very excited he’s back and healthy again because I think he brings that toughness that every team needs inside a coach. I’m looking forward to playing for him next year and changing some things up within our scheme.
What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
A goal I have for myself would be to get 100+ tackles and lead the team in that stat again but the overall goal is to get back to the playoffs
What game are looking most forward to this upcoming season?
I’m excited for our conference game against Maine West because they beat us up pretty good last season and I think we are going to show that we have improved and that we have a lot of talent.
Who are some players on Vernon Hills I should keep an eye out for this upcoming season?
Besides myself I would say a fellow sophomore Ryan Mann. He also had a strong sophomore year and will be even better next year.
