Alex Siebens how was your 2018 season?

For my first year starting on varsity I felt it went well. I made big blocks on the outside for ball carriers and had some big catches down field as well. I feel I have a lot more to prove this coming season.

What part of your game do you think you excelled at last season?

Definitely my route running. I put a lot of work into perfecting my routes in the off season.

Favorite memory of the 2018 season?

Catching my first varsity touchdown vs Lasalle

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I want college coaches to know I’m a hard worker and am very committed to the sport. I am a team player and love to see my team and teammates succeed I work hard to better myself so I can help my team can be successful.

What excites you the most about this upcoming season?

Being able to compete in the new conference. We get to see a lot new teams and I’m excited to see what we can do as a team.

Favorite route to run?

Post route

Toughest DB you went up against last season?

Not sure his name but the corner from Lake Zurich I think he was number 14. He was tough and quick it was difficult to get open on him with the coverage they ran with him.

Give me a Dekalb player who people should keep an eye out for this upcoming season that people might not know?

Jalon Redmond. Plays HB big strong fast and athletic
