Kameron Sloan Class of 2020 WR/ATH Collinsville 5'10 160

Kameron Sloan how was your 2018 season?

My 2018 season was all about development. We got a new coach who brought a new culture. I was asked to start on defense at free safety. I really enjoyed being able to play on both sides of the ball.

Favorite memory of the 2018 season?

My favorite memory was the time when we were playing O Fallon High School. We were down in the game and on a fourth and twenty seven. I was asked to go in and get as many yards as possible. I told them that I was going to score. I got the touchdown and helped my team get our first win in sixteen years against O'Fallon.

What are you working on in the offseason to better yourself for the upcoming season?

Right now I am working out at the Elite Football Academy concentrating on footwork, speed, and agility. I also lift 5 days a week. I am a running back/wide receiver for Midwest BOOM. I am also in track competing in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump.

What should college coaches know about you?

They should know that I am a good teammate, coachable, selfless, and willing to do the work. I don't take any plays off and I like to have fun.

What schools have you talked to?

Indiana State and Murray State.

What game are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?

You are one of the first to know Coach Pete, I am transferring to Belleville East under Coach Harrison. I am looking forward to competing once again in the Southwestern Conference. I have two games. First there is Edwardsville. They took me out early with a concussion last year so I have some unfinished business. I also cant wait to see my BOOM teammate Brady at Chaminade.

Who are some players on Collinsville we should be on the lookout for?

Kyler Williams RB, Chris Chi QB, Jake Holten WR/S, and Dontae Williams DE. Expect great things from these guys #2020.

What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

I want to compete at a high level through the postseason and show everyone what I am capable of. I want to secure that bag so my parents don't have to pay for college.
