Kyle Thompson how was your 2018 season?
We only had eight games scheduled, and I missed another one due to injury, but I still managed to help the team qualify for playoffs
What was one of your favorite memories last season?
Getting our sixth win to secure a spot in the playoffs.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me. I'm very emotionally involved with it. It keeps me motivated to push myself harder and taught me many valuable lessons on teamwork and how to be a good person.
What position do you feel most comfortable with?
I'm most comfortable with being a slot receiver, but will play any position that the team needs me at.
What game are you most looking forward to this season?
We have two games scheduled against Ottawa Marquette, they have been the "big dogs" of our conference and I'm looking to change that this season.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
I want to improve my around play and get my team far into the playoffs
Who are some players on Hiawatha I should be on the lookout for?
Junior linebacker Jacob Smith, Senior defensive tackle Christian Holm, and our other defensive tackle Cristian De La Cruz
What does small school football mean to you?
It's all I know, In small school football you don't have many options on some positions and have to play who you got. It gave me the opportunity to practice positions I never thought of playing and has made me a better all around player because of it.
