Feb 9th 2015 is when the Deep Dish Football Twitter Handle was started a group of concerned coaches delegated to Publisher 1 and it took like a wildfire. Began decades before with just a group of coaches Saturday night out for a beer on the southside. Words became actions in 2013 during the clinics and ideas became plans due to the disgust of the direction of football. One Main Goal- Cut Out The Middle Man (we are the middle man too lol. The day Deep Dish Football end is the happiest day for us as well). Too many stories of hard working families be screwed out of money, Too many stories of recruiting forums and message board bad mouthing coaches and kids, Too many times of recruitment writers thinking of themselves as an "expert" and never played, coached, or even scouted just out for a buck.
Thank You to the wives, families that let their husbands and dads take time off and do a panel meeting to talk football. Thank You Wives for making our food for some of the panel meetings, and thank for letting us meet in your houses to be part of something special.
Thank You RECRUITS, PARENTS, COACHES FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS. Lets make high school football about the players/kids and not the coaches, trainers, and writers.
