Darius Walker Althoff Catholic Class of 2020 LB 6'2 208
Darius Walker how was the Boom showcase for you?
Amazing. I enjoyed my self and got to put in a lot of work. Also a few of my teammates came along and I enjoyed seeing them have fun and work.
How was your 2018 season?
It didn’t go as planned. We had a very young team with only a few with varsity experience. But next year we will be back and more prepared. I earned all-city Defensive MVP and First Team All Conference also.
What schools have you talked to?
I currently have a offer from Illinois State. Ball State, Indiana State, and Illinois has shown interest.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a team player and very coachable player. I love to see my teammates do good. I also have a good work ethic and I am always willing to get better.
What needs to happen to have Althoff Catholic back on top this season?
Hard Work, Teamwork, and Discipline! We have the talent to be a top team in the state. But without those 3 things we won’t be successful. But thanks to Coach T and our coaching staff that won’t be a problem.
What motivates a Darius Walker?
Honestly my mom and dad. They are both my number 1 supporters and I love making them happy. My family supports me a lot and love seeing me succeed.
What Althoff Catholic players should keep an eye out for this coming season?
Dylan Appleton - He is 5’10 DB/WR pure athlete. He does whatever it takes to get the job done.
Mack Harris - He is 6’3 265 OL/DL. He is a beast he steps up to anybody who steps in front of him and isn’t scared of anybody.
Nick Alberico- He is a 5’11 DB that is very slept on.
