Talking Coal City's Star Edge Rusher Brady Crawford Class Of 2020 About Recruiting & Coaler

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Brady Crawford Class of 2020 Coal City 6'4 205 DE/ER

COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE

Brady Crawford to me is extremely athletic for his size and could be utilized at DE, LB, or at the hybrid Edge Rusher position. Great vision for a young defender, fights off the blockers to make a play not to mention the fact he stays in his assignment.

Brady Crawford what schools have you been talking to?

I’ve been talking to a couple including Wisconsin Platteville, St.Ambrose, Eureka and I want to talk to a lot more and get my name out there during spring and summer time.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I want coaches to know that I’m a hard working kid that has a high motor and I love the game of football

Favorite memory from last season?

Just going to the quarterfinals and going far in the playoffs because Coal City hasn’t done that in a while and being with all my teammates

Any showcase plans for this winter/spring?

Yes I wanna go to Boom and a couple other showcases that can really put me out there for coaches

What position do you feel most comfortable in?

Definitely Defensive End that’s my strongest Position and I had a great junior year playing Defensive End

Toughest player you went up against last season in the Interstate Eight?

I would say Demetri Coker the running back from Plano or Jay McGrath the Quarterback from Lisle

What part of your game do you plan on working on during the offseason?

Getting more faster for sure and for that I decided I’m going to track this spring

What do you like about playing on the defensive line?

It gets pretty physical taking on pullers and things like that so I love that physical part of it and it’s a pretty good feeling beating tackles off the line and making plays

Toughest obstacle for this 2019 Coal City Team?

I would say our first two weeks with Morris and then Bishop Mac they are two great programs and teams and then obviously there are a lot of good teams in 4A but we have a lot of talent coming back and our goal is to win a state title

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
