D'Mauryon Hunter Bolingbrook Class of 2020 LB/ATH 5'7 180
D'Mauryon Hunter how was your season?
It was really good in my opinion, we finished 7-3 with an early exit from the playoffs but i could tell that there was a lot of potential especially for my fellow returning starters on defense
How do you feel you personally did this season?
I feel like i did great i led the team in tackles and was second in sacks, i just naturally was able to make plays on the field and influence the players around me to get better
What do you feel you need to improve on in the offseason?
I need to improve my eyes and let plays develop so i can calculate where i need to be to positively affect a play.
What should college coaches know about you?
I have a high motor, i love to hit and take on large challenges and i love to learn and study the game on how i can get better
Favorite memory from this season?
My favorite memory was the first game right before kickoff when everyone was in the locker just excited to play ball again, and being able to play for a team that we all love once more
What do you say to the doubters about a undersized linebacker?
Size doesn’t affect my play at all at linebacker, I’m faster than most linebackers and as strong if not stronger than most lineman. So if people doubt me being undersized come see me play I’ll put on a show
What motivates a D'Mauryon Hunter?
The thing that motivates me...my mom motivates me to never quit and never give up so whenever I’m having a down day in practice or the weight room i just think of her so i can push myself to go harder
