Yes I am very ready! Our team has prepared intensely all week and it is going to be a great game!
What do you see in this Nazareth team?
I see an explosive offense and a well rounded defense. They have a lot of talent and we are gonna have to put the pressure on their sophomore quarterback.
What does it mean when I say "Senior Season"?
Well it means that no matter what this is my last season playing high school football and I want to end on a win.
Give me a Batavia player who you think will be a stud next season?
My little brother Mojo Weerts. He is second on the team in sacks and is a hard nosed player that loves to fly around and make hits. I may be a little bias but the kid is a stud!
How much does it mean to you guys that Coach Piron is a Batavia guy?
It means a lot! Him and a lot of other coaches on the team grew up in Batavia and they truly care about us as men. The pride that our coaches and players have for this city is unmatched and is a direct result of the success we have as a program.
How do you guys stay so humble?
We just know that we are not owed anything from anyone and we go out there and earn our worth every play of every game
